
Dr. Jacob Donohue
Dr. Donohue earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Health Sciences from Skidmore College in 2013, graduating Cum Laude. That same year, he began his dental education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in 2017 at the top of his class.
During his time at Tufts, Dr. Donohue conducted extensive research in dental materials and presented his work at conferences both domestically and internationally. He was awarded the Bates Andrews Research Award for Pre Doctoral Table Clinic Research and was inducted into the Robert R. Andrews Honor Society. He also served as President of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
After earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Dr. Donohue completed advanced specialty training at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. There, he completed a rigorous residency program with extensive experience in implant surgery, cosmetic dentistry, restorative care, endodontics, and advanced full mouth reconstruction. He also gained significant experience treating medically complex patients in a Level One trauma emergency setting.
Following his residency, Dr. Donohue practiced in a private dental office in the heart of New York City for five years, caring for a diverse patient population. He has developed deep expertise in aesthetic and implant dentistry while maintaining a strong focus on comprehensive oral health and long term function.
Dr. Donohue believes high quality dentistry plays a critical role in overall health and well being. He is committed to continued learning and regularly attends advanced conferences, lectures, and clinical programs to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Donohue enjoys running, skiing, hiking, and sailing. He values an active, balanced lifestyle and spending time with his wife, Dr. Shafique, and their family.
